Summer’s been fairly busy so far in the Stupack lab. We currently have no less than four interns in the lab: A UCSD undergrad, one from Colorado Boulder, one from Southern Oregon, and a high school student. While helping all of them out at once, I am trying to finish up a paper for publication and I can’t seem to get that one last experiment to work… daggers!
On a lighter note, this Monday I got to give a general talk about programmed cell death and cancer to a group of talented high school students enrolled in a summer science/research program at UC Irvine. Giving a more general public talk was actually a lot of fun, especially since I was given full artistic license and engaged the audience with trivia and other questions.
